Will Biden Extend the Student Loan Freeze ?

The student loan forbearance for federal loans is set to end in September.

Right now, neither Biden nor members of the Biden administration have suggested that the freeze will be extended.

Department of Education Secretary Miguel Cardona recently said that the freeze could be extended after Biden reviews the data.

What data? Most likely data concerning the economy and our continued response to the coronavirus pandemic.

My guess is that the freeze will end. Collections will start back in October. And repayment will start back in November/December.
